  2. I would keep the taxes the same because 6 months a year the flood waters from the Nile are over 10 meters so you can't farm so farmers may not be able to pay there taxes.

  12. I would lower the taxes. The Nile river floods about half of the year so there is no farming. If there is no farming people can't pay the high taxes.

  14. I think the taxes should be lowered because there are only a few months that the farmers would get money. It would be hard to get a lot of money when you can only have about two months to get as much money from crops as you can.

  15. I think that you should raise the taxes. If you had a flood that was to high or to low and didn't have the money to pay the rising txes, you'd sign up for a pharaoh job like building the pyramids. More people needing jobs and money means more pharaoh jobs getting quikly done.

  16. I think they should keep taxes the same because if the Nile does not flood as normally as it does then some people may not be able to pay expensive taxes because they may not have a good crop season and not have as much money

  17. i would lower the taxes because during the year the crops either have too little irrigation or way too much for the water to leave. i think the taxes should be lower because the taxes is already very high and with bad conditions for the crops not many farmers can pay thier taxes.

  26. I think that they should lower the taxes. I say that because sometimes the floods are bery high. So they can't farm as much, so they wouldn't make as much money, then they wouldn't have enough to pay the taxes.

  28. I think they should lower taxes because the of the nile and how it floods. During this part of the year people don't make money so paying taxes would be difficult to handle. With this bad economy tis hard to find jobs these days, especially when the nile floods.

  29. I think that the taxes should be kept the same. I feel this way because the egyptians didnt have any major problems with money and they functioned fine. What the chart says proves that they had plenty of time to plant after it flooded and they still had jobs for the pharoah to do when it was flooding.

  30. I would keep the taxes the same because for more than half the year you can't grow crops. I would also keep the taxes the same because it takes more time out of the year to plant all of the crops.

  32. I would lower taxes because most of the year is made up of too high of flooding or too low of flooding. This would affect the crops ethier way. Also, nobody would be able to pay taxes because they would have no crops.

  33. I would activly manage the tax rates. If the water was above or much higher than seven nilometers, then I would lower the taxes. Also, if the water was below seven nilometers then I would lower the taxes. If the water was at seven or near seven then I would raise the taxes because people would be making more money!

  34. I think that the taxes should be lowered. I think the taxes should be lowered because when the nile floods high farmers loose their oppurtunitys to farm. Which means that they would not get payed, so therefore without getting payed they could not pay for their taxes!

  37. I think that the pharaoh should raise the taxes because based on the Nilometer, the flooding season is really reasonable. Then When it comes to the planting, they can plant because it is higher than seven. Then when its time for the harvest, the flood is low so you can harvest the crops. In addition, i thought to average the flood throughout the year and found out that it was seven(very suspicious). Therefor the harvest would be good so the taxes can be raised!

  38. I think that they should lower the taxes. The people are doing really well with money so people could get more money. The economy would also increase if people got more money.

  40. I think the taxes should be lowered. I think they should be lowered because the flooding happens most of the year so when the crops are flooded the farmers don't have a job. If the farmers don't make money from their crops because of floding they can't pay their taxes.

  43. I would lower the taxes because if the Nile floods too much and the farmers can't plant the seeds, then they will not be able to harvest the crops. If they do not harvest the crops, then they will not be able to pay their taxes and could lose their jobs or even become poor.
