No Homework. BUT, get ready to start working on revising your Long Composition/Descriptive Essays - starting tomorow. Here is our schedule for them:
Thursday (1/14)- Score sample MCAS Long Compositions for Conventions/Grammar; score your own essays for both Topic Development and Conventions; revise (content)
Friday (1/15)- Edit essays(grammar, punctuation)
Tuesday (1/19) - Final Drafts due. They must be typed.
If you were absent today:
I gave you a packet of sample MCAS Long Composition Essays (based on the topic you wrote about yesterday). We talked about what made a perfect score (6) and down the line to the worst score (1). You needed to read one of each and decide which sample essay should receive which score. We also went over the first MUG Shot sentence.
