oops...as many of you are finding out, the 2.1 WS is an old test (no, it is not a test that you will take this year. However, it could be a great study guide in the future). I will get the real questions up very soon. Sorry for any inconvenience.
okay...I don't have the questions with me and I need to get to soccer practice soooo...those of you who have it, can you help those of us who don't. I can give time tomorrow at the start of the period in case we don't get every question on line, but that also cuts into "game-time". Abu, by the way, is the a god of vegetation - very important to agricultural communities!
Game on tomorrow - so try to figure out the questions! No worries if you can't...
no i took a book that we just finished at home and pretty much you just have to answer either two of the questions in one column, or one from each and it has to be in your blue books and the SS questions are 1) find the similarities and differences of Marshfield schools and a school in Mesopotamia 2) The word MESOPOTAMIA means______________ the TWO rivers are the ______ and the _________ 3) Mesopotamia is part of the larger region called the ______________ Why is it called that? Draw the shape 5) On the map of mesopotamia (p 30) the cities of sumer are almost in a straight line. Why arn't there any east or west? 6) Finish the t-chart Rivers of Mesopotamia Rivers of Life Rivers of sorrow Benifits Problems and on the back 1)define Ziggurat Polytheism and Myth 4) What do children in Iraq today have in commen with the children of Ur, 2006 BC 5) Who is Amu? Why do you think he is important? 6) Draw your friends, family, and teachers as Sumeran Gods 7) what is a city state? 8) Draw a picture of a scene in Sumer. Label anything we have today in our cities
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH clark hufnagle... now I can do my homework
clarkhufnaglebraudiscreedon are already on the Airhead list...THANK YOU!!!!! #1 comparing the schools...your school is a lot different than Sumerian schools...you are typing on a computer - they were writing on clay tablets...
The children of Iraq today are dealing with warfare, just like the children of Mesopotamia! REMIND ME to show pics of some of our troops in Iraq...they want to start blogging with us soon!
