Science HW - A brainstorm

Air is all around us and it is where weather occurs. Air has certain characteristics that affect the weather. Sometimes air is dry, sometimes air is wet. The first characteristic of air that you will study is mass.

Your question is: Does air have mass? Your task tomorrow is to prove that air has mass by building a device that measures or shows that air has mass. Good luck.

The equipment that you can use:
  • 2 balloons
  • paper clips,
  • straws
  • string
  • tape
  • meter sticks

Your clue: you have to design some kind of balance, like a see-saw type device.

For tomorrow, bring in a sketch of you idea with a short explaination of what it is you will do.
