Read 1.2 Prehistory.
There is also a bonus question on the Becoming Human worksheet.
The website is http://www.becominghuman.org/ and just click on the documentary (not the interactive timeline, though you can check that out if you want)

ReplyDelete#6 Since they ate meat, they were able to migrate throughout the world. "Meat is meat anywhere you go" so carnivores have a larger range, or can travel farther than plant eating species - who tend to stay near their food supply.
ReplyDelete#7 Hadar is the site in Ethiopia where Donald Johanson found Lucy (the australopithicus afarensis)
# 8 Johanson is the paleoanthropologist (science/history brainiac) who discovered Lucy and other hominid fossils.
# 9 Laetoli is the site of the hominid footprints discovered by Mary Leakey.
#10 Leakey is the paleoanthropologist who found evidence of hominid bipedalism (ape-like creature that walked like humans) at Laetoli.
Bonus: Look at the Culture section of Becoming Human
Hope this helps (remember: never panic if you can't the homework - as long as you try!)
Thanks Mr.Pelish!!!
